From this post
http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=8030
I quote myself
I suggested to add rendering queue to indigo UI. This simple tool could be simply integrated to indigo, usefull for both single computer and clustering. Something realy interesting would be to can enable all tools used for single rendering to animation rendering, you could save light layer setup for all frames...

It's hard to scroll to right place and read info if it refreshes after soo little interval time and auto scrolls to the end of the log.
Indeed, it is hard to get some info out of it when a render is being structured, the user has a low degree of control.

Just to quote myself:

Two ideas:
- In the "resolution" tab, the possibility to link width & height (constant aspect ratio - I'm always using my calculator to do that...)
- Something really useful : queuing of scenes to render. It would avoid scripting.

I agree with queuing / scripting.
As per the black UI, I've always been anti that - but I know see the error of my ways - so I'll see if we can use a QT stylesheet to make an alternate colorscheme.
I'd like our customers feedback on that naming conventions document, but if Dale and Fused aren't comfortable, I'll review the document first before I post it on here.

Okay - so this is 5 minutes in QT Designer, but something like this...? Can someone post a link to some nicely themed up dark-style graphic applications?

I don't mind having user feedback but let's settle 99% of the document first and then if there are any issues that we can't agree upon, we can get some user feedback for those specific issues.
Posting the entire document and asking for feedback on it is probably a bit overwhelming for most.

Plus, it may open many 'cans of worms'....

@ben
for the "dark" theme, the toolbar buttons look about right, but the other image is probably a bit too dark.
I think you should compare with cinema 4d or Blender's 'Rounded' theme.

I hope to see a vertical tabbed interface with all sections and just click once... I know it just a
web page, but check how well it works, how easier it is to pick the content you want when they are all available.

@pixie I like the idea of having everything scrollable vertically too... I'm trying it now.

For @pixie and @doug:
This will be an optional theme in Indigo 2.4.

Nice improvement Ben! The only thing is that, on the dark theme, the buttons look a little off... perhaps something a little more like this?
