DEV-thread - Blendigo v0.7 - material-editor-exporter
don't take it too hard BIG FAN
There are many peoples working with blendigo and i think they are quite happy with it
btw. i'am also a script-window user
So, lets move on
i'am currently working on two things:
- blender to blendigo-material converter (for imported scenes, so most blender materials gets automaticaly converted in a somewhat samelooking indigo-material)
- xml reader that should make it possible to store and load materials to ".igm" files
this two projects will take some time

Programming for yourself is easy.
Programming for everyone else is tough. It is like authoring a book without being the author. (only one person writes it but everyone thinks it)
Or building a house without making the plans. (again, there is one or a team of builders, but they are not living in it so they have no control how it looks)
Or basically building what everyone wants and not letting any of your tastes change any part of it.
Once you learn this you are the master!
Did any of that make sense?

BigFan, I think no one expressed disagreement, just a preference about ONE small detail. So, don't take it too hard
But it's true people don't say enough when they're satisfied, so, I'm satisfied with Blendigo. Thank to Zuegs, you, DaveC, and all other contributors.
Now, I discover by reading others' posts that there would be a "script window" ? When I read "Blendigo is now in the Render menu", I just thought It would appear in the "Render menu", on the top.
So, where is that damn "script window" ?

My belated two cents here. I concur with DaveC. Having a script window open as a matter of fact is really the best way. Makes material editing completely painless since it allows you to click on objects in the 3D view window and Blendigo automatically loads up the corresponding material. Much faster, in my opinion, than using a blender-to-blendigo material...
Suggestion for Blendigo : having the possibilty to enter more than one path in the indigowrapper.conf, and to choose in Blendigo (in a drop down list) which version of Indigo to use.
Exemple of possible indigowrapper.conf:
Indigo V0.7=C:\...\Indigo_07
Indigo V0.8t1=C:\...\Indigo_08_test1
Just an idea I thought usefull.
(edited for small corrections of my english
