Some more classic Nordic design. Poul Henningsens PH-lamp 4,5/4 from year 1926.

Thanks Whaat, I will be doing another render using the settings you suggested. That would save me a lot of time figuring out what material to use.

Pibuz : I just uploaded the file on Google 3d warehouse under the name 'Maple Tree (very detailed)'

Silmä : Nice lamp model, did not know that classic Nordic design in the 1920's looked more space age and modern than classical. Cool rendering too.

Silmä: Perfect for sure! Just a little bit longer render... but models are awesome, especially "Paimio" from year 1931-32 :wink:

Pibuz: those are great. The "better UV handling" doesn't matter in hands of professional :wink:

I've tried to model something for SSS materials and transparent materials testing. "Indigo preview model" is just not enough for me :mrgreen:

@dakiru
Nice SSS scene. Reminds me the 3ds Max logo a bit.

Here's one of my latest renderings. Just fooling around...

I actually used displacement for the ground. It's the "Stone ground" material from the material database. Maybe it's too weak.
