Hello guys, I'm new here. I want to try to use indigo 1.1.18 with skindigo 1.1.16 but I cannot see blackbodylight or rgb in the list of presets under the type tab.
Some help wil be greatly appreciated.
No rgb or blackbody light under preset type
Re: No rgb or blackbody light under preset type
Blackbody and RGB emitters arent in indigo 1.1.18. They were replaced with emitters, anything can be an emitter, you just click the word 'emitter attributes' in the materials window and put in all the settings.
Re: No rgb or blackbody light under preset type
Hi Pj and welcome.
Indeed, Remus is quite right about this. To get an emitter just:
1. assign a sketchup colour to a surface.
2. double click on the sketch mat to make the SkIndigo mat panel pop up.
3. under "emitter attributes" on the bottom part of the tab, change the drop down menu from "off" to a layer of your choice and change the temperature. If not, the sketch colour will be your emitting colour.
Hope that helped

Hi Pibuz en Remus,
thank you guys very much. Yeah..I got it working now. I thaught it was a bug or something
Only thing now when I right click on the material in SU it still gives a diffuse type as material. Maybe that is the way it suposed to be with 1.1.18?

Yes, thats right. There are no specific emitter materials in indigo anymore. Any material can be an emitter.
