Indigo materials can now emit light

Yup, you can just use a constant spectrum and/or texture.

That might be possible, using shaders to change the absorption colour of media depending on position. Actually I haven't really considered just how shaders will control media yet.

Does that mean we'll be able to make a shader for that funky car paint that changes color depending on your angle of view and the angle of the sun (light) ?

or is that already possible?
