Hey sweet, another newb! Well, you modeling looks to be off to a way better start than mine.

I would suggest to you, however, that a 'studio' setting might be more appropriate that what you have here (a half open box in the sun?). Also, there are many unnaturally sharp places (the bracket on the side, cylinders and braces at the back), and though it's been said many times many ways, you need to bevel those. Also, unless you want it to have that sort of plastic look to it, you might want to consider looking around the forums for some different materials.

Nice!
Bevels and look - see yttrium88

Very interesting are those reflections inside the big barrel, where the smaller barrels get reflected :)
Also the caustics on the back wall look good.

Thanks for the good feedback and especially the criticism!

Oh, and yes, this is based on Sasha.

Cool weapon! The reflections inside the barrel are nice!

My crits: I would have probably made the barrels more reflective, maybe they are and it just does not show up in the scene, and also made the handle less square. (Not sure what to suggest on that though)

If you have something reflective, then you need something to be reflected around the object. So try an exr picture as lightning.

Looks good. The only crit from me is that the thing looks like it was constructed of PVC piping. Almost as if were some kind of hi-tech, CO2 paintball gun. I would suggest adding a flat back material to give it *parkerized* look. Maybe add some rifling to the barrels?
