HI,
So here I will post a work in progress of a tin toy from the 50's.
I'd like to make a sort of godzilla-like image, with the toy walking in a big city, grightened poeple etc...
As you can see the modelling is far from being finished, but I prefer to post the wip from the start.
In this first picture, the face looks strange because the bump map is too high.
That's all for now !...

Thanks for your comments.
Some minor updates.
For the textures I use reference images (dust and rust found at
www.sxc.hu -->free pitcures), and I try to match them as much as possible.
So in those two ones, you can see the head better (the eyebrowns and wings materials are to be changed)

Seems the toy is made of stamped metal, like tin.
Looks really good to me! I love the expression on his face! Gives him such personality. I think the textures are looking really great - the scratched/rusty look is evident.

It is metalic toy, but i think it should be less shiny, too.

The toy is supposed to be metallic (except for the face). Here is the reference image I'm using (down there). But maybe it should be less shiny.
So, one last test with a HDRI image, then I'll get on with the modelling.
