Possible Bug??
Hi, just started setting up a simple scene for some lamp tests. It has one texture that I created, just a jpg.
When I export I get this Fatal Error.
Any ideas? Exports fine when i don't use the texture.
using the latest Indigo and Skindigo.
Thanks!
I just included the screenshot so you could see everything it says, hope that's cool.

weird grey edge to sketchup view
hi, i'm new to indigo and skindigo and i'm just testing out how everything works.
i've come across a weird problem tho, when you change the render width and height to anything other than 800 x 600 a translucent grey border appears either side of the view in sketchup. it doesn't appear to change the render quality at all, it justs corrupts the sketchup file so that even if you reopen it, it stills has it there.

First of all, welcome to Indigo!
The grey borders will always appear when you change your image dimensions unless they exactly match up with the size of the SketchUp viewport. The borders show the exact output of the rendered image so they are serving a useful purpose
. If you want to render an image that is the same size as your viewport (and eliminate the grey border) set the image width to zero.
Hope this helps...

Not a bug. Tonemapping issue. Reduce the strength of your emitters or darken the color of the background.CoolColJ wrote:A bug I think
when I do a render with the environment set as background, then any lights in the scene don't work?
Also, environment maps need a high gain value when used with mesh emitters. Try a gain of 1 million as a start.
I have been meaning to change the default gain value to a more reasonable number but I haven't had the time to do any tests.
Nope!CoolColJ wrote:can you set default the texture bumpmap to 0.001 and specular map exponent to 1.0?
Is it really THAT much effort to type those numbers in?
If so, I can tell you how to change the default values within the exporter script...
