Alphabet Soup

Post by eg2k6 » Sun May 06, 2007 6:51 pm

Its been awhile since I've done any 3D, so I return with a simple concept: Floating ABCs! :D

I was testing text and the randomizer script, and I thought it turned out pretty good.

the DOF is a little strong tho...

Nice.
You're two version behind the current now! ( 0.8 ) :)

But 0.8 is still buggy.
You can use it, but 0.7 should be fine.
If 0.8 works, it's better, 'cause faster ;)

Looks cool 8)
If you can find a Suopletterlike Font, you could use it and do a REAL Soup :D

0.8t2 is just a bug fix, any exporter for 0.8t1 should work.

:( whenever i render the image, it turns blueish.

i have the background set to white, and the sky type set to 'background'. am i doing something wrong? im using Wedge's 0.8t1 blender exporter with indigo 0.8t2.

You probably need to change the colour balance, if you're using a white background, set it to E.

 i think the low contrast makes it look like they're floating in a cloud, instead of an open white abyss.
