@mortal: you dont need to change anything in indigo

@hris: :oops:...

there isnt that much more to do :P

@dj anton: im not a talented writer :)

i would be glad if someone(who understands the exporter) could write a little tut for me(but if nobody wants to... ill have to do it...)

to export a scene: plugins > indigo exporter 0.2... > export to XML

please save the scene before export (c4d might crash)

Hi fused,

thank you very much for the new export plugin and the fast and continuing development on it!

Do you plan to release it as open source?
That would facilitate the availability also in the future.

And probably you wouldn't have to do all the work alone. :wink:

Not that the same thing happens as with BlackLizards plugin.

hey fused, what about new icons?
do you know http://tango.freedesktop.org?
as far as i understood, since the exporter is free-software, we can use and modify the tango icons. (you may have to mention the tango-site on the "about" window of your exporter)
Hows that?: (modified tango icons)

Mr. Fused - i thought about Your hardwork for our INDIGO community...and i checked all your releases dates...hm and now i suppose or rather i'm sure - that you have four hands and two heads or two brains in one head...:) There is no other way to do so much in so short time..
Well... i'm so proud, that i'm a member of community where people want to help other people. Maybe i'll help other members...but i don't have skill in coding plugins or in making tutorials...buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut :) if i find some piece of time between monday and friday in next week i wll try to make some short tutorial for Your plugin. I can't promise for 100% but i will try to send you something around wendsday in PDF format (text and pictures).

new release!

----------------------------

INDIGO EXPORTER FOR C4D 0.2.4b

download exporter here (or below)

the file contains "sampleScene.c4d" for everyone who still doesnt know how to setup stuff.

please tell me if you find bugs or have specific requests. i will try to fix/implement as fast as possible.

new in 0.2.4b:

* new icons (thx manitwo)
* env maps are supported now (NOT TESTED, can someone test?)
* textures are supported now (for phong and diffuse)
* bumpmaps are supported now (for phong and diffuse)
* some little changes here and there
* null objects can hold tags now(i think so at least, only render settings and material make sense)

known bugs/issues 0.2.4b:

* sometimes you have to guess the right fields, didnt find out how to hide them yet
* do yourself a favour and use .obj export only :) (still a rotation problem, will be fixed soon)
* normal problem. if you think sth isnt the way it should be, try setting normal_smoothing = false

textures and bumpmaps are to be set in the cinema material.

please post bugs :!: :!:

...and now its time for a pizza and a beer :)
