In this one I tried to get some decent lens flares.

Yves, you just found the most sophisticated, complicated and slow way to create lens flares. And probably the most beautiful.

Sure:
Red: Lens
Green: Sensor
An aperture is supposed to go somewhere (not exactly sure where).
The inside of the camera is a pure black diffuese, but for demonstration purposes it's white in this one.

awsome!!!! what kind of camera settings did you choose to imitate the sensor plane? ortogonal camera?

Yes, I used an ortho cam that looks at the modeled cameras sensor plane (which is a pure white diffuse).

Yes, there are 5 ashtrays one on another. It looks like mirored but the bottom is visible... Thanks for the comments!
