Hi my probleme is with glasses. Unfortunately I dont know which setting is the best. I realised that the DERMIS and EPIDERMIS is very bad in the medium type list (or I dont know what can I use for this).
The ATMOSPHERE and BASIC settings is true but I have some problem with there.
When I choose the ATMOSPHERE setting I can see shadows on interior site JUST why can NOT set IOR when I use ATMOSPHERE.
AND When I use BASIC setting I can set IOR BUT cant see shadows on indoor (on the rooms)

and the last question is when I switch off bidirectional setting only in this case get perfect transparent glasses. Why?

Dermis & Epidermis are two layers of (human) skin... using it for windows will suck

Basic is the medium type to go... atmosphere is afaik not really finished/bugfree, so use at your own risk

Hmmmm unless you model an igloo and make the windows out of seal skin, you never know when you need to show an architectural render to an eskimo....

it's comforting to know that indigo has us covered in such times of need. if i recall the paper by jensen et al. correctly, even african seals can be modelled.
what other renderer provides this level of dedication to realism and user needs?

			Crank up your MNCR.
Use basic medium type.

@ Gog: Max Num Consec Rejections...
You find it in both your exporter and in the inifile

@ zsouthbody: be careful with new and/or not too frequent users, many might not know, what the shorts mean
