indigo.exe not a valid win32 app

Post by jmlima » Mon Apr 07, 2008 10:01 am

Guys,

Firstly , hello to everyone!

Now, a small hick-up. I just installed the Sketch-up exporter, and the Indigo renderer, when I press the render button in Sketch-up, the DOS boxes open, and hen I get an '<path>/indigo.exe is a valid win32 application' dialog box...

Any suggestions / ideas / fixes?

Thanks in advance.

just found the answer... the latest version of the rendere is not the one you're supposed to use with sketchup...

not very clear in the download areas...

hi.. i got the same problem now.. can you tell me how to fix it?

this is what ive done:
1. download the indigo_x64_v1.0.9_2 and skindigo for sketchup and put the indigo folder in the program files
2 i followed the instruction written to put the .rb in the plugins and skindigo folder in the plugins..and supreviews in the indigo folder
3 i run the skethup and locate to the indigo.exe in the indigo_x64_v1.0.9_2 folder
4. everytime i try to click render the DOS and thaht message appeared..

i've tried to download IndigoRenderer_x64_2.0.6_Setup and did the same things as above..
but it still failed..
and i've tried to use sketchup 6 and 7 too..

what i have to do now?

if you dont have a 64 bit os you should not download the 64 bit version of indigo... try the 2.0.6 version without x64 in its name.

If you have 32bit Windows, then you can only use 32 bit applications.
So yes, try with 32bit Indigo.
