Name of used xml file in window title bar

Post by Jananton » Wed Jan 24, 2007 11:31 am

Hello All,

This is ihmo a simple request... :)
What I would like to see is the name of the used xml file in the render window title bar. Obviously one needs to do testing on different settings of a scene, and I find myself running often two or three instances of indigo that are all alike, and then I have to search through all commandline windows to check wich is wich... 8)

Greetings from nighttime Amsterdam,

Jan

++ to this idea too.

Takes a very small line of code to do, too.

yes, would be usefull; sometimes you can accidentally kill the wrong process... maybe a prompt before closing would be cool (but naming window is better) ?

See how I'm working (all read 2i_Indigo_phase2d.xml), actually what would be just perfect is the number of the image only in the tittle, in the fashion im1171267265.png...

[edit] Better, name of the scene (full path is too long for readability) and img#.

Also what about named logs ? That could be a switch (use log.txt located in root folder or im1171267265.txt in "logs" folder).

Should I make a special request for that ?

:D Hard week in perspective, have fun everyone and don't let anyone push you ;)

Thx OnoSendaï !
