create a paper's material

Hello everyone,
I want to create a paper texture that can react if there is a light behind. I tried with a material Diffuse Transmitter but it is not happening as I souhaieterai ...

Does anyone have an idea?

Try the Double Sided Transmitter material. Should have way more control over the light transmission and what goes on each side of the page.

The diffuse transmitter will give interesting results only if you blend it with something else (in your case, diffuse, oren-nayar or phong) with only a few % of diffuse transmitter fraction. Pure diffuse transmitter corresponds to nothing in the real world, but the blend do.

I'm sure that you can have a rather good transluescent paper material with diffuse transmitter if set-up properly. The double sided material will add some interesting fine-tuning, though.

J'ai essayé avant ta réponse de travailler sur un matériau double sided mais je ne comprends pas trop le process pour le front et le back. Faut-il indiquer un type de matériaux ?

Pour le front et le back, il faut lier vers un materiau existant. En gros, crééer deux matériaux, par exemple "paperfront" et "paperback" (ou un seul si les deux faces de la feuille sont identiques) et glisser déplacer ces matériaux dans le champ "front" et "back" (tu peux aussi taper directement le nom du matériau).

Ceci étant dit, pour la feuille de papier, je suis certain à 99% que faire un blend avec comme matériau 1 un phong ou un oren-nayar blanc, et comme matériau 2 un diffuse_transmitter blanc, et une valeur de blend de 0.05 environ, tu arriveras à l'effet souhaité. Et c'est plus simple que le double sided

Nothing big happening really. Etienne suggested that the double sided material could be used for interesting effects for a paper sheet, but given the initial difficulty experienced by schmums with it, he is insisting on the relevance of a simple blend for such purposes.
