Possible bug

Download the Candle wax material from the Material Database and start render. Looks nice and white.

Now select the wax medium. Dont change any settings and restart render. The render now looks yellow. I thought it was because I had just the medium selected but it happens even if you reselect the main material.

Seems if you change the focus to the medium it stays there even if it seems to have changed focus?

Thanks for the other changes though Ono - in particular remembering files locations :-)

Yup, there's a bug with absorption colour. I think it's forcing the gamma to 2.2 when it should be 1. Will fix.

UI, as in indigo renderer looks awful ... I hope to be in the plans for making a decent graphical UI? ;)

Everything is too big ... Only a few functions and the need to scroll sliders ...

I realy appreciate ; )

1) I can't "open" more than one material. I can open a downloaded file and create another one to blend but I can't have 2 downloaded material in my material list... would be appreciate too

edit: 2) would be nice to choose file or folder name when I download material. I did download 4 material and I just don't know which folder match to material. Would be nice too to choose folder directory too.

thanks in advance

Sometimes I wonder if UI wise I the QT framework is that much flexible for what it has to accomplish...

Personally I find it fine. Indigo is really just a renderer - a very excellent render :-).

How good an interface does it need?.

If was a modeller/animation program then you might have a point with your complaining :-^)

However, Indigo is a commercial product. In my opinion, should keep a good level of performance. It is true that it is a very good product but what prevents that was even better? ;)
I am also the first who asked for such amendments. Well-designed menu makes it easy work - it becomes more enjoyable and more efficient

I consider buying a license so I ask for different things such as, for example, vignette control (yet did not receive a reply)

Vignette control is a long time request, we're all waiting for some answer. I guess Ono and Benn are considering if (and how) it is possible to implement.

About a more intuitive and smart layer control, I agree with you. But some purpouses are already been posted, we're only waiting for the new GUI. I think there are some more critic issues to be solved before a mere graphic improvement.
