some times it happen that regulating some camera parameters is not had effects on the rendering.
to resolve the problem turn on and to off the command "Auto"

One thing i miss is the camera correction modifier. Can someone confirm if it works or not? It seems to not working for me.

the "auto" work...but the option is active of defoult,even if visually is off.
if you want see the result, you turn on and tur off the option.

this way the option is off...
excuseme for my languge... have you understood the procedure?
