try this: (glossy_glass_test.igs)
5 min with Bidir PT.
5 min with Bidir MLT.
5 min with Bidir Hybrid.

Compare and tell me what mode performed best

the problem is, that hybrid doesn't seem to be tooooooo optimized, yet... It's quite slow. I *guess*, BiDirMTL or BiDirPT would be faster, dunno...
you really have to test
