Hey guys,
I'm new to indigo/blendigo and was hoping that you guys would answer some questions for me as it seems that most of the documentation is down. I finally figured out how to install all the components and get them working (something that was making me crazy over the past couple weeks). I'm running Blender 2.45, Python 2.5.2, indigo_v1.0.9_3, Onward with the questions.
My computer has crashed several times when rendering in indigo,"shut down to prevent damage". Not sure if this is a common thing with indigo. CPU specs - 2.4ghz quad core with 4gigs of ram.
All i've done so far is to take a simple scene in blender and export it to indigo using the blendigo export script. I went though one short tutorial where I added some simple materials to Suzanne and exported that to blendigo. I'm confused with texturing for the most part as in how to texture using images, also how to use the materials in the material database on the website, and if there is a good way to convert a blender material so that indigo can use it in the render.
I do architectural drafting using Autodesk Revit and have been working on developing a workfare between Revit and Blender over the past couple months. For the most part I've figured that out and I'm now looking to the rendering stage and it looks like indigo might be a good implementation into the work flow.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Nuvis

I'm able to render ok, it just crashes sometimes. I am not getting the blue screen of death, it either renders or crashes my computer. Nothing is overclocked. My OS is XP.
My main question was just about texturing and how to apply the materials that are in the material database to a model for the indigo renderer.
Much appreciated,
Nuvis
