Hey hey,
I just hacked my Blendigo script so that, for Blend materials, instead of saying Material A and Material B, it now says Black and White, which helps figure out which material will go where on your BW mix texture. It's a tiny thing, but still trips me up every now and then when in a hurry. If that's useful to anyone, you just have to open up the blendigo.py in the Text Editor, search for 'Material A', replace that with 'Black', and a couple lines down is 'Material B' which you replace with 'White'. Kaboom.
Blender Material + BW Texture
Re: Blender Material + BW Texture
Nice hint, perhaps this could become a permanent feature of the UI somehow, extra hint text somewhere on the blend material interface.

Is it possible to do tooltips in the script panel? The option to clip the blend map to strictly black and white is missing too, though I'm not sure if this greatly affects the render speed of blend maps... ?dougal2 wrote:Nice hint, perhaps this could become a permanent feature of the UI somehow, extra hint text somewhere on the blend material interface.

Extra hint and step blend option are excellent ideas!

The B/W hint and step_blend support will be in the next release.
