DEV-thread - Blendigo v0.7 - material-editor-exporter
The only work-around is to scan all vertices of the mesh to find the bounding-box/dimensions. But that could be slow if mesh is big but it's a possibility
file selectors and xml path
Under Windows if I select as an Environment Map a HDR file from a mapped network share (say "f:\texture.jpg") the exporter puts into the xml file this line:
<path>..\..\f:\texture.jpg</path>
and Indigo gives this error:
Cannot read image file... No such file or directory..
The same happens for all file selectors (albedo, bump map, ...) and not only for mapped network shares but also for any other unit different from that where Indigo is installed.
Zuegs, could you fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Material Preview files for Blendigo.
I'm posting this mainly for zuegs, if he wants to include it with blendigo, but everyone is welcome to grab it and use it if they like. if it renders too big, just go into the .xml and change the size. try to keep it square though.

Just unzip this into your Indigo_07 folder (wherever you have that) and it should work when you click preview in blendigo.

Hey zeugs.
How about implementing what radiance suggested in this thread: http://www2.indigorenderer.com/joomla/f ... php?t=1598

Background color
Now that you can set any material parameters like color, ior, etc. directly into Blendigo, wouldn't it be nice to set there the background color, too? Maybe with a gain parameter?
I have a question which was brought to mind by a recent thread (about indigo materials in exporters). Will you be adding a save and load material option?
And, more importantly I feel, an option to copy material settings from one material to another. Something so that, when we make a slightly different shade of green glass, we don't have to start from scratch. We can start on a copy of the original green glass.
Just an idea.

@daveC:
material save and load feature is in discussion and will come once we find a common solution/format and once i found a free light-weight xml-parser for python
This also would give the possibility to copy/paste materials in and from clipboard. But I see the need for copy/paste and perhaps I will implement a simplified internal copy/paste for the meanwhile.
