IES Pack

Hi all! So, the title says it all.
I thought it could be useful to have a collection of IES files on the site, so everyone can fully test the potential of the latest Indigo IES support.
I'm a sketch user, so i tested some files myself. Most of all work fine, some of them don't: while loading the .igs file Indigo crashes saying something about degrees and vertical limit. I really don't know in programming language what does this mean, i only know some files don't work (few files, though).
So, i post them down here. Hope it's useful for anyone interested.

If it is so easy to make a preview, where is it then?

Hi Smart!
Ctrl+R for the preview rendering, after having selected the desired IES file.

Preview rendering may also be toggled by clicking on a little grayscale icon on the left, under the big root window.

I mean you could make previews and insert they into your post. i mean, why should i download a "cat in the bag".

No, i can't post a preview of EACH ies file, it would take forever! Moreover, this topic would become a mess of images and relative codes: i think it wouldn' be more understandable than what's now.
So: i searched into the net, uploaded 3 rar files, made a previewer available: now i think it's time for me to let the users test by themselves what's worth using and what's not.
The only thing i can say to ensure you is: mate, for me it's all good stuff.

Maybe the users can report what files they've used or will use here?
Just to get a closer look at what files we might take and what not

I can feel a shell script coming on... wouldn't be too hard to generate a batch file to iterate over all the files and save a little preview - would only need a minute or two per file, and as you say some don't work.
The machine could render the whole lot in a few hours.

I don't think it would even last hours as the IES preview is quite fast...

ok, i've written a batch file. I'll let it run during the days this week while I'm at work.. no guarantees when they'll all be done though.

Hello!

Could Somebody help me? I dont understand this IES- Material. The IES light mean an light so not a material. hmmm I dont understand this

If I use IES light in other application this mean a light so not a mesh/surface. Well I use an litle cube for this? Is it accurate?
