problem bottle with liquid inside

Post by SCHMUMS » Wed Mar 13, 2013 11:02 am

I wish I make a container of liquid.
When I apply my liquid + glass materials (see material parameters), the liquid appears black. But I checked the normals, everything seems correct.
would anyone have an idea?
I attached the test file.

check page 115 of the "Indigo Technical Reference.pdf" inside your Indigo installation folder :)

Maybe your juice medium is absorbing too much, or maybe the object dimensions are too large. Remember that Indigo unit is meters, and that 2m thick of cranberry juice looks black

For sure the glass Precedence value must be at least 1 point higher then the one of the fluid, otherwise strange stuff can happen ;)
