Looks like I'm the only Blenderhead there! I wish I could've finished it properly but meh.

I really wonder why there is no single fryrender user. Is this engine so un-common among pro's and advanced amateurs?

Pow

EDIT: A.W.E.S.O.M.E renders, first time that I had a look at this VRay thing. Indigo renders nice too.

Yeah, Vray is the industry standard right now, hands down. Second place would go to Maxwell. I haven't seen Fryrender used that much among the bulk of the pro work out there...

Ya funny, there's no fryrender mentioned anywhere. I'm trying to get a idea how these render engines relate to each other. Indigo is pretty nice, there is absolut photo-realism possible with it, especially when I look at dcm or bertrands posts. The fryrender forum features some really great images too and I think some of the artists are not real full-time pros. But Maxwell was the first render that got my attention. But its super-expensive (for a hobbyist) and the demo is not really fun to use and there is no blender exporter.

VRay looks biased to me, like a super-advanced version of yafaray. Nice white walls, that are possible to achieve with.

Oops, I realize that I hijack this thread, sorry.

G.R.E.A.T. challenge,

Vray IS actually biased.

Odd to see no Fry images: its architecture is really really good, surely superior in rendering time, quality and overall stability than Maxwell, in my opinion.
I believe Fry is something Glaretech should have a constant eye on
