I think we are so fucked up sometimes that we create so we can destroy.
Damn, that's philosophical and deep!
And often true

I've never used drugs of any kinds and never will so I'm against them completly but since they exist, the fact that they're not legal makes them even more dangerous and the illegality destroys much more people. Alcohol is legal and creates hell lot of havoc. But that's the price we have to pay for existence of such substance. There's nothing to do about it if we still want to run a free society.
Sort of a very sharp double-edged sword here.
The difference between guns and drugs + alcohol is that guns have been created to kill. Drugs & alcohol kill too, but indirectly.
It sounds completely crazy to me, to sell killing devices to the mass.

We shall sell bombs too, with a visible warning on the packaging : "Warning, bombing can cause death. Do not use on crowd places."

Stur : What you said has no connection to what I said. They exist so they have to be legal or you risk the situation that you can't defend yourself. I once defended myself with brass-knuckles against two attackers and one of them had a telescopic baton. If I hadn't a weapon I would probably end up beaten to a bloody mess on the ground.
Logic. Why do normal people buy guns in the first place?? To defend themselves. Yes there are people who are going to buy weapons to kill but most of such criminal acts were done with illegal weapons.
Ever heard how many criminal acts were prevented because people could legaly carry a weapon???
This world would be a better place without guns and weapons. But they exist and I would rather die in a fight then to take the shots like a rabbit.
