The glass, the whisky and the bottle looks superb!
The lightning is also outstanding.
The only bad thing i can see is that the wood texture could have a little higher resolution.

yes, you've right. the wood texture resolution is a little bit too low for this render, but i don't have other wood texture :(

I like it a lot. materials and models are very good.

however, I don't like the composition very much... i looks like it's all falling out of the bottom right of the picture.

I used both: HDRI for ambient light and an emitter for better shadows and caustic

here are some... you'll also can find millions on the web...
because your image is a closeup, you'll don't need a tiled texture,
so you'll find even more ;-)

beside the wood texture your image is superb!

there are some good textures on this site, but not for close up shots. but i'll try it out
