Quick tests:
- nudge negative: objects and meshlight are black, sky remains visible around them.
- nudge null: first iterations are around 7% slower than with default value, image looks the same. Default value preferred.
- nudge positively increasing: ojects close to the camera (or light source ? not sure because of the scene setup) are progressively cut away, entering the world of invisibility. Sky remains, alone.
Tests realised with simple MLT.
My conclusion is that nudge distance is not something you want to play with, unless you want a separate pass for sky (dunno how accurate it would be as such).
