You must make sure that your Sun object is dropped inside the box, like on this attached screenshot. When doing so, I got no error messages. Good luck! :D

I only can second that!
david, you need to learn some basic workflow with cindigo, atm there is none...
To have a Sun, you new to activate it! use your C4D sun to define the direction etc, and then drag and drop the sun here:

Then create a camera and use the indigo camera tag, otherwise you use the default camera focusing the horizon, set a defined focus point and deactivate autofocus.

- C4D isn't suported, the sky is only used for HDRI maps to control the rotation (useless here!)
- Use a phong tag on your statue to smoth the normals!
- Use PT+BiDir instead of MLT!
- None of your fancy C4D materials are suported, use Indigo materials!
- read this tutorial: http://www.indigorenderer.com/documenta ... d-tutorial

Thanks both, Sun object assignment make the difference, after that I discovered C4D Floor object is not recognized from Indigo so substituted it with a normal plane.
Attached the final result, it's noting complicated respect wonderful things I did see in this forum, but a start for me.
I need to learn a lot I know, but my learning path is always with some concrete project in mind.
Hope in the future to became good enough to start something more professional.

Tutorials are a nice idea, but why video and not written?
Video can only be seen linearly, I did always find them time consuming to extract useful info.
Also with a video if you want later to review something you need to look again the whole thing.
I can anyway help for the newbie point of view.
