Hi all,
I got a problem which certainly has a "tip" solution :
When using lights with small sufaces, even if I boost the power like crazy, my little spotlights are far too weak to light a room and only appear as little white dots :
If I use the same setting on a large plane, then it works better....can't I get powerfull little spotlights like they have in elevators and swimming pools ?
Thanks

Re: unefficient lights
How many emitting triangles are in the scene ? Also, did you try lumen for emission ? And rendering mode please

Re: unefficient lights
Hey CTZn
I'm sorry but I'll be noobing it from the beginning to the end :
-I couldn't find some "scene info panel" and I couldn't know how much triangles I have.
-In the emitters attribute I can chose the layer, the base emission color (I can chose blackbody, RGB, tabulated etc) but nothing named "Lumen". Then I got the power efficacy and ies path...
So the only Info I can provide in the end is the rendering mode :
I tride bidir path and bidir MLT but both didn't solve it

Re: unefficient lights
You need the new SkIndigo I think, try the 3.2.0 combo out did you !?
Also there used to be an UI button in the SU editor, providing more options.

Re: unefficient lights
I already got that UI button checked, however I'm installing 3.2 to see !
Re: unefficient lights
Just wanted to let you know I found the lumen story, but it was already set by default.
Anyway, by setting up the base emission settings I found a gain input I maximized and....tadam I can make my lights brighter than the sun :p
Thanks for your help !
