shader might improve the lines even more, using more or less infinite resolutions

Here is a WIP from my super mario ashtray, my problem is that i want to look it more like plastic, but i don´t know how to use SSS correctly (i want to use SSS on the plateau thing). It would be nice if anyone could help me and explain me a liitle bit how to use SSS materials.

Just simple emitting cubes inside. And I forgot to adjust the focus. I had it set for a close-up.

You had strong competition, I unfortunately suck with plastic mats. Did you look around the forums? maybe some people posted their settings.
