god...this looks amazing - is this blender modelled / unwrapped / textured? if yes - can u show mesh and texturing in blender window?

Really superb Dr.

I'm depressed, I tried to mimic your first rock scene, and ended with an insane pixel maelstrom. I can't show the picture, the test was made at home.
I'll try a little bit more by myself before begging for help.

The Doc's really inspiring and clever.
Having a try at rock too... Displacement's just phenomenal. Got to try this with a ZBrush sculpt!

I tried a displacement test on an older scene of mine. Not sure what's going on with the floor plane. I'm using the exact same image for for color map as I am for displacement, and the same UV settings. My only guess it that the displacement map isn't scaling the same as the color map??

such an extreme dispmap isn't too good anyway... It needs a smoother gradient ;)

Yes... But if I turn it off it's still not scaling the same. This image is tiled, does that matter?
