Wouaw !
The cushion is awesome !
Something disturbs me about the teapot however. Did you take a reference pic or does it come out of your imagination ? What disturbs is that it looks like who wants to open the lid will be annoyed by the handgrip. Shouldn't it be a little bigger so that it doesn't go over the lid ?

Looks very good, though I don't like that color. Maybe terracotta would look better. Overall I think the teapot somehow looks unrealistic, maybe due to the color. But the leather cushion is amazing. Very nice, looks real to me.

I don't think it's the colour but the shader. It's a blend of two very different phongs - kind of a like a car paint. Maybe not the best choice for a teapot...

I think it looks like a leather teapot. Very cool, but not something I've seen before.

very nice
IMHO the teapot and cups could do with some slight imperfections in their shape to be fully convincing..

Thanks guys for the helpful comment. I think I'm going to have one last go at it, mainly the teapot mat, and then render a larger scale image over the weekend. Keep you posted.

Ok, here's what I think is my final version. I've changed the teapot colour, tweaked the mat (less leathery, more mother-of-pearlish), added more imperfections to the surface (bump) got rid of the UV mapping holes, fed it to my Quad and done a tiny bit of postprod.

Hmpf. Sorry, to me the teapot just looks rendered. Nicely rendered, but rendered. Can't tell you why. It just looks as if you've rendered a teapot into a real photo of a leather sofa.

I like the new colour though, much better than the old one.
Ps: Could you share the leather settings?
