i would be nice then blender had a shaded mode with wireframes on like maya has :)

i just found an option to activate it per object but this is a pain in the ass when u have many obj's

oh, I see, then, there is none....
however, you might be able, to simply click on one object, change the shader, as you wish, and copy it to all the other objects in the scene - as you simply can copy modifiers and such. Never tried, though...

i mean a shadet mode in which u has the wireframe as overlay. a mix between solid/wireframe :o)

1. select one object
2. activate "wire" object buttons, tab draw
3. hit A, than again A
4. Ctrl + C (Copy Attributes) and select "Drawtype"
5. done

ah, now about the picture, very nice, it is going to be great image
some notes, lights again, try to mix some different types of fluorescent tubes, now theyre look like all daylight (not so usual), make them a bit green, and one or two warm as an opposite, and woud be nice to make ceiling more 'industrial', more wires, tubes, etc..

right wires are always good for realism, i will try some different colors in the lights

(i hope i have enough money for a quad core cpu soon :o) )
