A minor project of mine
A minor project of mine
Duplex designing, i am pretty new to the indigo so im posting all the premature rendering before i really give it a good improving, i know i have much more material's work to do, and more environmental aspect's to deal with but its just the start after mashing out everything into this piece of structure.

Re: A minor project of mine
It's as sexy as a white page can be, the building looks good to me. I'm totally naive on arch details tho.
obsolete asset
Re: A minor project of mine
mmm yeah i don't usually use arched architecture or designing, i use more linear and "bauhoused" design when i plan indoor\outdoor structures, but i like this nudity, still nothing clothing the building but the bricks building together one by one

Ok, mongoose: now we're waiting for the next step!
At the moment the render is quite basic. Nothing wrong and nothing great. We'll see

Re: A minor project of mine
ok. so this is going really slow cuz i am at my work both working on this and piled up with the work at the company, so i made some roof tiles, im not wasting time on building up the wood construction of the roof its simply laying the tiles on the flattened concrete slab, later on when theres more time working on the interior ill keep up steam on it.
added some more concrete belts under the windows\porches\layouts of the house.

Re: A minor project of mine
Very nice start! I find your images very smooth and clean! May I ask you the rendering time?
Re: A minor project of mine
I usually try not to lose preciuos time modeling something I'll never be able to see in the final render: I think most of your efforts in the final phase of this work will converge into adding details of the environment. I personally proceed with the architecture first, and then with the placing of what surrounds it. Is this a real work or just an exercise?
Re: A minor project of mine
thank you shidu and pibuz for your reply's
well the render time goes between 1.5hrs to 3.0hrs, at work it takes longer then at home, here i got 8 thread i7 3770K with 16gb memory kits, and an awful video adapter, but its running very well, better then i thought.
at home the rendering time takes less time because of the cpu and memory + vga
pibuz:
this work is actually a real work still in planning, this project had been frozen due to time issues at the company, its actually the house of my CEO, i take time with it not only because i like spending thoughts on this project but also because i have the time to spend on it, its a duplex given to 2 families as the ceo said, "take it, give me whatever you got in mind, i trust you on that!"
i don't have a lot of experience only 8yrs working, but i like it, its like a different lung to breath from dunno why.
thank you ppl for your reply's i will put some more gas on it and may be upload some more works I've done.
Image:
laying the parts together to make the tiles go along, used a decorated light railing that will go along with the future design.

Great out of focus technique: it makes everything much more charming!
Ok, now we are waiting for some textures to appear mongoose!

Re: A minor project of mine
Aye! i will put the pedal to the metal!
Edit:
i had to see how it looks like... gonna change materials to more warm and soft wood ones

fix

tried to check some silverware i made... not that good
