little problem

Post by Pibuz » Sat Mar 08, 2008 12:06 am

..I don't think it's a bug, so i didn't post it in the dedicated section. But, i'd very like to know why indigo crashes, giving the attached message warning.

This never happens when i try to render a scene of mine, but only with scenes done by others, mainly newbies of sketchup modellation..

So, i think it's a kind of problem concerning file managing, or workflow.. Anyway, is there a simple way to fix it?
If anyone knows, tell me! Thanks! :D

Hi Pibuz, I have seen this issue before also from a model I grabbed off of the 3D Warehouse. The easiest way I found to fix this was to just check the material names. In the Material Dialog you can change the view from thumbnails to a list view and there it will become quite obvious which materials share the same name. By just renaming those which have duplicate names you can be off and rendering rather quickly. Hope this helps!
