please help me I' am new using SkIndigo, I have SkIndigo 0.9.1 and I have problems using it. When i press render button a window appears telling me to locate indigo.exe, I read in starters tutorial that theres a text in Google SketchUp/Plugins telling where SkIndigo is, but theres no text in the file nor in the .zip file. I have downloaded it and copied all the files as it should be (as the text told me)

Welcome to Indigo ZYX! I think you misunderstood the tutorial. You must have Indigo 0.9.10 stable unzipped on your computer (get from Main Downloads Page). When told to locate 'indigo.exe' you must browse to the folder that you unzipped Indigo to and then select the 'indigo.exe' file.

If you have done all of this correctly, it is possible that SkIndigo is being prevented from creating the text file that stores the path to indigo.exe. This would most likely be due to the security permissions of the Sketchup/plugins folder. If you think this is the problem, let me know and I will explain how to change the security permissions so that it will work.

I have unzipped the zip. file on the sketchup6/plugins (free version) but i can't find indigo.exe in the plugins folder, even searching manually. there is no .exe file in the zip download nor in the plugins folder. Is indigo.exe in the SkIndigo.zip download?

Hi ZYX, I answered you in the (edit) tutorial forum. Sorry if I was sarcastic there, and welcome (btw I'm no Sketchup user).

once you have unzipped indigo, make sure you copy the previews folder to the 'indigo' directory (the same directory that contains indigo.exe). Right now you have it in the wrong place (i.e. the skindigo directory)

indigo is a program; skindigo is a sketchup plugin to export to indigo. its sounds to me like you have installed skindigo without first installing indigo.

so... download and install "indigo", see if that helps you out.
