Also, the indigo material preview fails to launch when using a a blend between the glass preset and none (I was trying to make plastic.) It doesn't matter the blend factor is set to. .5 crashes it and so does .7. It tries to load up (the window appears for a second), btut then it closes.
Hi neo,
You can't blend a specular or glossy transparent material with 'None'. Indigo won't let you. I need to add a check in SkIndigo so that if the user tries to blend these together, they get a warning (it's now on my TODO list)

BTW I find the plugin working just fine, except for a couple of things about the mat editor:
1. I see that the double-click over a SU mat doesn't trigger the popup any more, at least for me. I suggest you re-enable this feature.
2. It is really cool to have the possibility to switch SkIndigo mats with the top drop-down list you added, but it is totally misleading not to have a correspondence between the selected SU mat and the one we selected with the drop down list. Don't know if it is clear: I choose mat1 from the SU panel and I call the SkIndigo mat editor; then I switch (through the editor) to mat2 but in the SU panel mat1 is still selected. I am an experienced SkIndigo user and last night this really puzzled me .
3. Last thing. The SkIndigo mat panel somehow "remembers" the last mat you edited, so when you recall the mat editor after you closed it, that is the current one. This is misleading too, for someone wants to edit the mat he double-clicked on, and not have to browse in the drop-down list to search for the mat he wants to edit again.
Very strange Pibuz! None of these issues occur with me.
1) double-click still works
2) selecting using the drop-down list will also select the material in the SU panel
3) Re-calling the material editor will open the currently selected material for editing

Are these issues still occurring for you? I don't know what happened here but if you can give me a repeatable sequence that shows these bugs, I can start testing.

...you're right Whaat... :?
Maybe it's some kind of iE version issue. Here at work it all goes perfectly, I have this problem at home, instead, where I don't have a direct internet connection on my quad. Could it be this?
BTW I'm happy this is nothing you have to fix. :D

It was indeed a IE update issue. Happy it all goes fine now!
BTW this is a little update: Indigo 2.2.8 and SkIndigo 2.2.3.

Your positive feedback always flatters me Whaat.
I'm glad you like the wip result: it means that I use correctly and efficiently the tool you made for us.
Obtaining good result means a lot to me: I think it is a kind of thanks for all who worked hard to make it possible.
Imagine that without your hard work, I would have never been able to get this image.
So thank YOU, Dale. This image is partly yours.

Pibuz your work is always remarquable! For sure Dale does an excellent work but your scenes, the way you arrange your 3D, etc... you have talent!

Whaat! I have a question. I was playing with skindigo, trying to reproduce somethinhg like a TV, and put an image on the screen, and make it emit light, BUT keeping the image. I mean I wanted that, like a TV in the dark, i have the image, and it emitts light. I tryed the skindigo advance feature tutorial with the brick example but i only have light, and no brick pattern. is it normal? and with my images too i have nothing :(

EDIT: HAHHAA so noob... forgot to check the "sketchup" in emission

I have a little question about environnement maps. Precisely, how to use them correctly. I have tryed an image that i found somewhere on the forum, and it works quite well, but i would like to know the followings :
1 in which case to use Lat/long, or Spherical
2 what does the width value change? i did several tests by changing the values but nothing changes, whatever the image i use.
