Hello All,
I am new to this forum and Indigo Renderer. I have had a go and got some reasonable results so far using C4D
I do have a question though, I took a scene I has made, imported materials from this site and applied them to my model - which promptly disappeared. At least it did in the view port. This confused me (doesn't take much though).
I am wondering what I did wrong?
I am using C4D R13, on a macbook pro 2012.
Thank you for any help you can give!

Hi poodles,
welcome to the forum
Not sure what exactly is going on.
This is definitely related to assigning an Indigo material to the model?
If you remove it from the model, does it reappear?
Can you make a simplified scene for me that shows this exact problem?
Cheers!

Did you activate Advanced OpenGL in the viewport?

poodles wrote:The problem is definitely to do with the materials - if I delete one or more the bit that are not assigned a material reappear. I didn't activate Advanced open GL. It happens if I set the render to the standard render too.
I have tried to replicate it on a simple cube and that disappears too with the same materials...? If I create a new material, that seems fine.
The object is clearly there when you click on its name in the objects manager, but as soon as I click away, poof, its gone!
Ok, weird
Can you upload the scene file or email it to
support@indigorenderer.com?
Thanks!

Sure, I can't upload the C4D file so I'll email it. I'm sure it's something I have done!

You can zip the C4D-file and upload it then.

Ah, ok that sounds like a familiar bug
Since R13 (I think) the editor representation of the material does not update immediately for some reason. Looking into it

Ive noticed it takes a short time to change when I change materials from c4d ones to indigo renderer ones, but these are indigo materials downloaded from this site.
