Why does anybody know something about 0.8 already? Funky? What kind of funky additions are planned?

Hmm, HDR image support in 0.8 would be cool... more texure map options than just color and bump (i.e. normal, spec, alpha.) The speculation could go on for days! :P

I agree with HDR image support. That's what most HDRI files are formatted as :)

I like exr much more. It's from IndustrialLightandMagic. :-)

Also exr is much more powerful. I would like to see the possibility for using exr_probe.

But having an ior-map would be much more needed, I think!
