I just noticed this problem too, not with the meshes, but opening an igi and adjusting it and then trying to save a version as tiff or png, Indigo gives an error saying the file cold not be saved.

Hi Oscar,
There was a bug in path tracing modes where emitters weren't hidden from the camera. I have fixed for the next version (3.6.17).

Thanks for bug report!

When I checked the Temp folder there was no .igmesh file at all... I've never had this issue before, and whilst the .igi file will open by itself in Indigo, once I do open it I can't even save it out as another image format, meaning the .igi is pretty much useless to me...

Am I doing something silly here?
It sounds like you are resuming from a scene file that no longer has some of the meshes it needs.

Is this a bug with not saving the temp mesh? I was trying to resume minutes after the .igi save. I hadn't purged anything or turned my computer off or anything...

Why not simply follow the path on your computer that Indigo told you it can't read from :)
Do you have this issue all the time or only once?
