Nice soltion. Could you advise me on the program used to change the key?galinette wrote:As a french user, I always customize my computer's locale to the decimal dot, as commas tends to mess around the anglo-saxon software behavior.

Actuall, I do not change my keyboard behaviour. I just go to Control Panel > Regional Settings > Customize, and then I set the decimal separator to "dot" instead of "comma". Then Indigo (and many scientific softwares...) works much better with number input.

It worked as a charm, thanks!galinette wrote:Actuall, I do not change my keyboard behaviour. Update: ui wise it works fine, but then the renders all become black

Re: Indigo 2.4 - Don't Make Me Think
I hope this is a good idea...
I've attached an excerpt of the Indigo .ui file for qt designer. If you want to have a go at creating a theme for the new Indigo GUI, download the QT Framework and install the designer. You can then click and drag to edit the ui, or edit the "stylesheet" parameter of the inspectorFrame to change the rounded-button style of the widgets.
Use this to generate a stylesheet that you'd like to use (we'll support custom ones in 2.4), or give us some ui ideas (bit more powerful than using a photoshop mockup).

Re: Indigo 2.4 - Don't Make Me Think
Most renderers that I have used in the past render alpha at the same time as the rest of the image, saving as a jpg or other format that supports alpha channels save with the rendered alpha.
Can Indigo support this? It'd help composting really well.

The new UI is looking truly fantastic, benn. One small suggestion though.. The buttons look a little too rounded.. Rounded is still a great way to go, no argument there, but maybe tone down the rounded edges slightly?

Would be extremely helpful.

Re: Indigo 2.4 - Don't Make Me Think
Setting the default WhiteBalance for the test scene to F7 would be also great since it is to greenish atm, see this thread:

Benn already said it's been added.

We're talking about an alpha channel which is embedded in the PNG image itself.
