blendingo question
Alright guys, I have a question about rendering with indigo from blender. when using a pre-made material from the database is it neccesary to adjust the texture and material settings within blender and also, when using a material from the databse that includes an image I seem to consistently get the following error "Error: SceneLoaderExcep: ObjectExcep: No such uv set 'default' (In element 'model', around line 139, column 5)". hopefully someone is able to point me in the right direction. I apologize for the nooby question and i really appreciate the help guys

To use materials with maps (albedo, bump..) your need to UV your model. And the name of this UV data block in Blender has to be the same as in Indigo material. You can check the name of the external material by opening the .igm file in text editor and look there. Then change the UV name in Blender to the same. (.pigm files are .zip)
Also have a look at this super-thread . Reading it helped me a lot.

Re: blendingo question
Hi everyone!
I tried to find an answer everywhere, but couldn't...
(so don't hesitate to re-direct me in the right direction if you've seen the answer somewhere...)
I'm not quite sure about what the "A","B",and"C" values stand for in the Albedo, Bump, Glossy and Displace settings...

In the Bump settings, "B" seems to stand for the depth of the bump, but I don't know about A and C...
Since I've started building my own materials (and having fun by the way!), it seems necessary for me to understand these settings...
Anyone's got an idea?
Thanks a lot!!!

Have a look in the Indigo Manual.pdf in your indigo download.

Re: blendingo question
Sorry madcoo they are not very well described - the blendigo manual will describe these better - but for now try the Indigo manual.

Re: blendingo question
Hi!
I've had a look at the previous version of the Indigo Manual (before the current 2.0.8 version - the cover page is white with a render by Bertrand Benoit): the a, b, and c values aren't very clearly described for non-maths-geeks. (sorry for the author!)
They are mentionned in a somewhat complex calculation explanation, saying that they play a role in the R/G/B calculation, or something like that (I'm very bad at maths...)
I've downloaded the latest 2.0.8 version of the Manual - they are not mentionned...
