Error: nonetype object has no faces!??

This is my error message:



What is a "nonetype object" and how can it not have any faces?

Running Vista 64 Ultimate, Indigo 2.06 and 1.09?? blendigo. Don't remember - latest version anyway that was for 2.06.

i checked all my objects, all have names - and far as I know - all have faces, nothing was created in edit mode either - very lost at this point. Any help appreaciated. TY in advance
