Hi Roubal,

I just uploaded 2.0.6.1 - can you install it and see what the error message is for Blender?

Roubal - can you try blendigo 2.0.6.1 and let me know what error message you receive? I think we have a problem with the way we deal with the registry. Do you run as administrator or a normal user?

Can you send me a sample blend file that gives you errors? I'd like to fix it - you can upload it to http://drop.io/ and then send me a link.

Hi,

I wanted to try out Blendigo using the new installer. When I start the installer, the default installation folder (on Vista) is \AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts

Is this the right place to install? When i installed to this folder, I am unable to locate Blendigo either in the Scripts menu or the Render menu.

I'm using Blender 2.45.

No that is only a guess at a default location - you want to select the actual location that you installed Blender on your system. Use the browse button to locate your installed copy of Blender and drill down to the script folder as in The Location of Blender on your system\Blender\.blender\scripts

 Perhaps smartden needs another laugh. I also have the problem where Blendigo disappears when it launches Indigo.

mmm- another strange thing happened. when I first tried Blendigo 2.0.6, Blendigo couldn't find indigo and would refuse to load. Then all of a sudden it started working. Now, about six hours later, I click render and it spits out an error in the blender console and again blender can't find indigo and won't reload...

I made blendigo close intentionally because it suited how I worked better - maybe it's not so good for Blender experts? :)

We are working on Blendigo at the moment - new release in a day or so with fixes for the current issues. Thank you for the bug reports everyone.

I am certainly no Bleder expert but I would certainly prefer to have it stay as I render multiples times with lots of tweaking so it would help my workflow alot.

@Benn : Hi, Thank you for working on Blendigo improvement !

This time, Blendigo didn't found indigo :

When I launched Blendigo script from Blender's script window, I got a pop up menu with a message saying :Indigo not found. Do you have indigo 2.0.6 installed?
The only available choice was "Close Blendigo".

After reinstalling (one more time) indigo, Blendigo finally opened !

But as I have already said, it would be much better to come back to the path system used in Blendigo 1.0.9 with 2 fields to type by hand the paths of Indigo and Blender, or even 3 fields like in Blendigo 1.1.18 with one more field for the scripts folder.

I'm almost sure that an automatic system searching in register will never work on everyone's computer.

I'm making export tests. More comments later !

Well, Good and bad news :

Good news : With a new Blender scene or with an old Blender scene with "rebel" materials or objects removed, it exports and renders.

Bad news : I still have no autosaved images in my renders folder, and the Output path of Blendigo is still not taken in account !

Output path is deprecated abd will be removed in next release.

Hey Roubal,

We may get rid of the autosaved option from blender and make it configurable from the GUI - you are meant to save manually in the gui after you have tweaked your tonemapping settings in realtime. :)
