Fixed crash-causing bug for Mac builds of Indigo

Post by benn » Wed Oct 07, 2009 3:08 pm

If you are using Indigo 2.0 on Mac - you should download the latest build from the downloads page. This version of Indigo 2.0.12 replaces the old release which had a bug with large scenes.

If you have had issues with Indigo crashing on your Mac, try this build.

This is a fix for the BVH bug if you've been waiting for it.

Erm, ... I guess you meant the version 2.2.1 will replace 2.0.12. At least I do read 2.2.1
on the download page. ;o))

take care

STOP!!!!

Discovered something really important:
Indigo 2.0.12 doesn't run on my iMac here (iMac4,1 / 2GHz Intel Core Duo / 3 years old / 10.5.8)!!!
Indigo Icon is slashed, plus when I try to execute it it says:
"You can't run Indigo because it's not supported on this architecture".

My presumption:
Not all Intel-Macs are 64bit-compatible; you should provide a 32bit-build as an official version!
Indigo 2.0.10 is the last build running here on my machine.
And where has the render client app gone?

You really should check these things!
Cheers, David

Zeitmeister - I'm doing a 32-bit build at the moment. It'll be available soon, my apologies.

Everything okay... didn't want to cause panic.

I was just astonished that the official download build didn't run here on 32bit-Intel-Macs; especially as it is the only available version to download for the Mac.
Cheers, David

Where is the build that will work on my Mac?... I'm getting the same "Not supported on this architecture" message as zeitmeister when I try to install/run Indigo

17-inch Macbook Pro 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo... Mac OS X 10.5.8...

I downloaded the only one that was available for the Mac, and it doesn't work... and on your "features" page you state that software supports 32bit and 64bit
