I've taken a picture and then model the scene, here's the result:
Nikon D40
ISO: 200 |
F-Stop: f/4.5 |
Shutter-Speed: 10/30 s

- Nikon D40
- Real.jpg (280.57 KiB) Viewed 2037 times
DSCS 315
ISO: 100 |
F-Stop: f/4.5 |
Shutter-Speed: 33/1000 s

- DSCS 315
- indigo.jpg (56.96 KiB) Viewed 1952 times
Overall I think that the Nikon has clearly more detail onto it!
I'll keep updating this thread, as I keep tweaking stuff around...

I just bought
this plugin for a similar project

Anyway I think this fits best in the WIP section in the artwork area

I thought about it too, but wasn't sure, namely when it is not intended as anything else but for tunning up the materials, it hasn't the same purpose as a WIP or artwork.... This is more of a study

You need to model the stuff behind the camera as well, since there are shadows on the real image which aren't in your model yet.
