Not crazy about activeX but it does have its uses, mainly in a corporate network environment.

Not sure why neo would think it's a good solution for what he's thinking.

Yeah, you got it, buddy! That's exactly it! :roll:

ActiveX is a microsoft technology that allows web applications to access hardware/software.. It could be used to allow the material DB to interact with the exporters..

The material database may be finished up tomorrow and deployed properly. There are a few bugs still to be ironed out - but clever people might be able to work out the url and try it out early.

And i'm aware the material owners are all messed up - I have a job tomorrow to fix that. :)

Nice, Benn - the Materials-by-colour thing is quite nifty.

One suggestion I'd make is: lose the HTML border around the images. Otherwise, good to see the progress :!: :)

the material color idea is awesome :)

Fused it's just you. I'll remove the borders, and pixie your materials will be returnd to you soon. :)

Any more requests in terms of browsing / categorising the materials? Tags / themes / sets / groups....?

How is the color done? Automatic average of a certain area of the materials pic?
