Yes - bonus points will be given for scenes that render quicker.

benn wrote:Okay - we changed it to 1200kb, you're right 500kb is a bit small.

You only need to post your final renders here, once we've chosen the winner, you'll need to send us the .pigs and original model (.blend, .skup, etc) so that we can make tutorials around it as some stage (and also so we can test our in development exporters).

Ok , pigs and blend file < 1200kb.

No... if the scene contains any textures or external materials it needs to be a .pigs file.. which is actually much much smaller than the original .igs file.

Oh my bad.

Edit, setting the record straight, once and for all, please no more questions :P:

The .Pigs scene (Packed Indigo scene file), which is essentially a .zip file with the indigo scene file and all of the textures/external materials used in the scene, must be less than 1200KB. You can create a .pigs file by going to tools>pack indigo scene, and specifying the .igs file you want to pack, then specifying the output folder and saving.

The 3d file can be however large it needs to be, as it is only going to be for Ben and Ono, not the download-ers of Indigo, and there are only going to be 3 people that need to give them their 3d file scene, anyways.
