Hello, I have a "strange" question: when - for example - I'm rendering a wall, and the material is phong or diffuse (no transparency) does it matter if this wall is modelled like a cube (with a depth) or like a plane? Obviously this make difference if I'm rendering a glass, but with no transparent materials it seems to have no importance. I'm wrong?
p.s. I'm using Indigo 0.60

Thank you, and welcome to the community!
Another question: the dimension of the object is important? For example if I'm rendering a small cube of 10cm^3 there is a difference if I model it in Blender with the dimensions equal to 0.1x0.1x0.1 (1 unit in Blender is 1 meter right?) or 100x100x100? I did some experiments and it seems that expecially with glass material the dimensions are important, but I'm not sure.
