test render??
Ok i am extremly new to Indigo so please dont laugh at my rather silly question...but is there a way to do a test render or a quick render so you can see what may need to be changed as the normal rendertakes a long time to finish!!!

Re: test render??
there are 3 scenes in the testscenes folder inside Indigo installation folder.
The "Caterpillar - Paha Shabanov" scene is a little buggy at the moment, so give the other two a ride

oh, stupid me... I misunderstood your question -.-'
Check page 13 on the Skindigo manual, its a good read if you are new anyway
Also the Skindigo Tutorials may be interesting for you...

Re: test render??
m_gal: you're using an UNBIASED render engine. I fear there is no quick way to do things, especially if your machine is old-fashioned (dual-core or less, IMHO). To have an idea of the global feeling we usually launch a very small resolution, or using region rendering on big renders.

Re: test render??
Yeah just render at a lower resolution with supersample 1. While it may still be noisy, it becomes easy to see how the render will turn out if left longer.
